Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord.

Praise God in his sanctuary
praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with timbrel and dancing,
praise him with the strings and pipe,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,

praise him with resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

Psalm 150

I’ll repeat. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! If the Lord woke you up this morning that is a reason to give Him praise. Let’s make today great! Despite your circumstances, always remember He foreknew and predestined you for purpose. (Romans 8:28-29). No matter what it looks like now, His plans for you are to prosper you and to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Stay planted and rooted in Him. I’m so glad He loves me in spite of my imperfections, failures and weaknesses.

The sermon yesterday was titled “Be It Unto Me.” The Pastor talked about how the Lord uses us not because or when we are qualified, but being perfect in the Lord is being available to be used by Him. The Lord meets us where we are, we only need to make ourselves available to Him. Sometimes we allow fear, insecurity and whatever else to discourage us from fulfilling God’s mission and purpose. But I’m here to tell you the enemy is lie! In our weaknesses, He is our strength. He did not give us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. Like He used Moses, He can use you. Like He blessed Abraham and Sarah, He can bless you. He keeps His promises!!

Despite everything we think is wrong with us, God sees our beauty and calls us His! And that, my friends is something to rejoice about! The pastor spoke this word, “I may not there yet, however be it unto me. Let Your will prevail against what I think about myself” He explained that praying be it unto me, is surrendering our need to be perfect, making ourselves readily available to be used by the Lord. Whew! I don’t know about you, but I want God’s thoughts, feelings, plans about me to prevail above my own. It calls us to be submissive, obedient and available to His will. Praise the Lord!

Have a blessed day and wonderful week!
