The truth is we will always have to wait for God to move in our lives. Waiting refines our faith. What I’m taking about is the Wait we put on ourselves when God shows us a vision. I have the tendency to say, “I am going to be patient with the Lord. I’m going to wait for Him to give me the resources.” It’s easier that way. It’s comfortable. The truth is that while I am “waiting” on God, He is waiting on me. Like myself, I know there are others who are waiting. Waiting on the courage to make that move, apply for that position, go back to school, start that business. “Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4, NIV). All of those things are already in our possession when we delight ourselves in the Lord. We have the tools, the resources, everything we need. We need to get out of our own way. I am tired of complacency. I’m tired of fear! I’m tired of the devil! If he can gets us idle, then he thinks he’s won! What funny is as I was writing this post, the site was malfunctioning and i had lost everything I had written! I wanted to say, “Forget it, I’m sleepy. I’m going to bed.” But the spirit said, “No! Write this article!” The Spirit gave me more to say than my original post. We can’t allow the devil to get us in the spirit of, “I’ll do it later or forget it.” God gave us purpose and vision that He wants us to fulfill. We can’t be, too busy waiting on the right time. The time is now! What has God called you to do? What are you waiting for? As we get acquainted with the new year, let’s go through it eagerly seeking to accept what God has placed in our possession and the faith to walk into our destinies. God is waiting on you. He is waiting on me. He’s waiting on us! The Wait is over!!
