Newborn babies are so innocent. They make life have more meaning and more grace. While glancing in a newborn’s eyes, our flaws and imperfections no longer matter because newborns make the world that much more beautiful and special. Our eyes are opened by the blessing God has created and suddenly life becomes better. We are shown the delicacy of new life and excited for the growth that soon begins. We are all God’s children. The same excitement we have when a newborn enters the world, is the same excitement Christ has when we are made new in Him. We don’t have to worry about our flaws, our mistakes, or our failures because Christ died in order that we would be free from it all. Isaiah 43:22 states, “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth.” As we grow on our Spritual journey we should never dwell on the old, but be joyful for the new that God is doing in our lives!
